The National Communities Resource Centre was launched in 1991 and provides research, policy and courses for high-rise tenant associations, social landlords and representatives from low-income communities. It also supports family welfare through its family and youth programmes. The centre now has a 25-year track record of developing people’s confidence, skills and capacity to tackle community, environmental and social problems.

The Centre is situated at Trafford Hall, Chester, where many of its residential programmes are run. To help fund its charitable aims, Trafford Hall also provides external conference, event and wedding facilities plus a B&B service.

The Challenge

The National Communities Resource Centre had outgrown its existing website and realised that they needed to have two website to better separate their charitable work from their conference, event and wedding business.

The Richmond Marketing Consultancy was asked to design and build two websites: one for the charitable National Communities Resource Centre’s activities and one to promote the conference, event and wedding business to the local community.

The Result

In August 2018, two striking websites were launched. The National Communities Resource Centre website is very flexible in its design, to allow it to be regularly updated in-house with policy documents and the calendar for its Community and Housing Plus Academy courses. The Trafford Hall Venue website is designed to help build the weddings, conferences, events and B&B business and to promote its strong environmentally-friendly credentials.
